Mail Art to Jeannine Saylor

I was really worried that my friend Jeannine wasn't going to get my package, but I think sending items to Canada can sometimes take a little longer. I will try not to panic next time :) But it made it, that's the main thing. Firstly I made Jeannine a 'Hello' embroidered/fabricated curtain hoop. The fabric I used is a Liberty Fabric.

I also gave Jeannine one of my hand-drawn origami boxes, which I hear she will be putting postage stamps
in. They are the perfect size for that, good idea girl :)

Next was some vintage Disney Snow White stamps and a scroll which I cut out one of her favourite Words 'Awesomesauce' into.

I also made this A5 original geometric drawing (sorry about the photo being dark).

Cabbage-Bug Origami Box

and finally I made Jeannine one of my new origami box designs which has a 3D geometric lid with a hand -drawn beetle inside. Some people have called them a Specimen box, which I think is a great name for these. I am also very glad that this box got to her without being flattened, as I sent another to a friend of mine and hers got squashed.

  3. This package made my day. I am finding a special place for each item so that I can use it daily or gaze at it often. I'll be gathering & making a reply in the coming weeks. :D
