illustration Rally food pattern submission

Tim McDonagh

Yesterday I came across (via @wallcollective) this amazing illustrator 'Tim McDonagh'. Tim paints in Indian ink and then digitally applies colour. The amount of detail is breath-taking. You really get a sense of movement and fluidility within each illustration. The colours are just mouth-watering and contrast so beautifully with the Indian ink.
Please take a look at his wonderful website:

Box Diorama

I sent Jessica Gowling (aka @jessicagowling) this week a package for her mail art blog:
http://naturesmyfriend.wordpress.com/2011/06/04/its-a-rotating-strike-mail-art-lives-on/
I was so pleased she received it, as I was a little worried it would get lost in the post or get damaged, but thankfully it got there in one piece :) The idea of sending mail art is brilliant, if your interested in sending Jessica anything just get in touch via her blog or twitter. She loves getting packages especially if they have stickers, papers or drawings on the envelope/packet. I had stuck vintage maps from an old school atlas on my package. You can send her anything you like whether it be art or things that you have found. I know Jessica loves stamps...hint hint ;)

You can see below what I sent Jessica: everything is handmade (except the vintage pumpkin envelope, which you can buy from here on Etsy: http://www.etsy.com/shop/bostonbaglady )

-Two small origami boxes
