Mail Art to Jeannine Saylor

Last week I sent @Jeannine a full to the brim 'ship' inspired package, though I did add some other slightly different pieces of paper ephemera to it too :) Jeannine is very much into nautical themed goodies.
I sent:
- An antique ship image from an old book.
- Hand-typed Letter on the back of a vintage map which I sew'd on a piece of trim and tied with lace.
- Hand-typed description of the word 'Ship'.
- Various pieces of paper ephemera.
- One of my hand-drawn altered book pages which I made into an envelope and put in other pieces of paper ephemera, a sticker, cameo and 4x hand-made stamp montages.
- 5x hand drawn compass stickers (I found an old sticker machine so I'm going to start using it more.)
and.....a miniature drawer unit I made from matchstick boxes and then stuck pages to the sides and back, from an old book based on the sea. Inside each drawer is either a cutout of a ship or a stamp, which I got from old books I have been collecting.

Mail Art to Deirdre McCormick

Deirdre has been in for a big treat with her second mail art package from me. It was her Birthday last week, so I put in a few extra goodies, plus I had to live up to her amazing package she sent me last.
I sent:
-A hand-typed letter on a piece of old map which I sew'd on a vintage metal leaf and stuck a cameo too.
- Various pieces of paper ephemera, some which I put in a hand-made envelope.
- Vintage Snow White Stamps.
- A picture of a Screech Owl and its description.
- A real Peacock Feather.
- A pair of earrings I made from an old necklace I used to have.
- 2x Original drawings, which I drew some time ago.
- 4x hand-made stamp montages.
- A miniature Birthday card.
and last but not least a book diorama. The images drawn are a replica of part of a wallpaper design from the 1940's which Deirdre said she would love to have one day. The border edge is of my own creation.
