I had a super duper surprise this morning. The awesome Melanie Chadwick who has a blog called Mellybee illustration nominated my blog to receive an award today. This really did put a big smile on my face and it is always good to hear what people think about your blog.
I have such a large list of blogs I follow but here are the five I am nominating:
Deirdre is a good friend of mine and her blog is always a joy to read. Her presentation of photos fascinates me as I have no idea how she does it. Deirdre's blog presents her lovely illustrations, love of vintage goodies and the cutest photographs of her new puppy 'Bonny'.
Another good friend of mine is the very talented Jessica. Full of blog posts on mail art (she is the Queen of mail art), thrift buys, altered book pages and constant updates on her amazing wildlife inspired illustrations.
Beth's blog is one of the best presented I have ever seen from the colours to the layout. You will find many a wonderful thing on this blog such as patterns for crochet, vintage buys, where to shop and lately Beth has been showing many pretty drawings and paintings from her sketchbook.
Nicole's blog is one of the most eccentric and interesting blogs I have ever come across. The way she dresses is just WOW!!!! This girl has got style and I love her head pieces she wears as they go so beautifully with red hair (I'm jealous of anyone with red hair). The vintage finds she comes across are out of this world. If your a lover of vintage as much as me then you will love this blog.
I always get excited when Ella does a blog post. Her blog is full of vintage goodies, jewellery, caravans, illustrations, D.I.Y tips and photos that she takes of what she is wearing on the day. What I like most are the photographs she takes, especially of her outfits. Ella also has an online shop called Velvet Feather where she sells beautiful hand-made jewellery, so make sure you check it out on her blog.
