My inspiration on a daily basis

Beaded Moon hanger / cross ear cuffs / postcard and original illustration / floor and wall covered / Hand Printed flag by Nigel Peake 'Small Time Adventures' / A clown and some horses / Children's classic books and old cigarette cards / old drawers that hold my pens and vintage maps

Every morning I wake up to what I call organised clutter, full of inspiration and wonder. Everywhere you look there is something for the eyes to feast upon, whether it be an illustration, book or decorative ornament. There are little nooks and crannies with hidden treasures amongst . Anything resembling a pot is full of bits and bobs. Every door handle has something decorative hanging off it. My book shelf is my pride and joy, my very own library. There are old books behind drawers. Maps and atlas pages are spread around the room with all sorts of compasses to help me find my way. My room is an escape, a place for thinking and creativity. I often sit in my wicker chair covered in plaid cushions and read a book or just sit and listen to the songs of birds.
