Wolves, Ships and Pieces of Silver

For a while now I have been meaning to visit this awesome cafe called 'Heaton Perk'. So glad I did a little visit too there with my auntie today. I had the best cappuccino I have ever had and my aunt had a 'Cup of Rosey' (made with Rose petals and other rose ingredients with Quinine). I try'd a bit of it and it really refreshed my mouth after having a slice of my gluten free brownie which was lovely. I also got to try my aunts cake too which was lime and coconut...DIVINE!!! We will definitely be back and I will try and take photos of the inside as there were books, old tea tins and posters every where.

The book I couldn't believe was free. It says inside 'Free to a good home'. Apparently the owner running the shop was given them by a lady who unfortunately died, but left her many books. They are available in the shop, but they have to go to people who will look after and treasure them. This book is called 'A History of the Merchant Navy', dated 1937. One my best finds EVER!
